About Us

The Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PANP) is a dedicated group of highly trained primary care practitioners who specialize in natural medicine. Naturopathic Physicians combine centuries of knowledge in healing sciences with new and innovative techniques to support the body through both acute and chronic illness.

6 Principles of Naturopathic Medicine

1 — DO NO HARM. Use the most natural, least invasive and least toxic therapies first.

2 — IDENTIFY AND TREAT THE CAUSE. Look beyond the symptoms to effectively address the underlying cause(s) of illness.

3 — THE HEALING POWER OF NATURE. Trust in the body’s inherent wisdom to heal itself.

4 — TREAT THE WHOLE PERSON. View the body as an integrated whole in all its physical and spiritual dimensions.

5 — DOCTOR AS TEACHER. Educate patients in the steps to achieve and maintain optimal health.

6 — PREVENTION. Focus on promoting health and wellness, and preventing disease.
